Band Bio
Singer, Natasha Ramirez Farr, left the San Francisco Opera and returned to Baltimore several years ago. She quickly reunited with her musical friends, Mike Gehl (guitar) and Fred Louden (bass). Together they became Vagabond Motel. The group uses soulful vocal and acoustic textures with multi- layered rhythms on their first recording, the Restless EP, which has received airplay on local college stations WTMD, WLOY and WHFC. The six songs combine classic and contemporary influences ranging from Janis Joplin to Florence and the Machine. They were recently joined by percussionist Dan Esser and guitar/mandolin player Ralph Reinoldi. The group delivers a performance that is dynamic and captivating and captures their unique musical personality.
